The 2018 Taipei International Electronics Show (TAITRONICS) and Taiwan International AIoT Show (AIoT Taiwan), jointly organized by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (TEEMA), see their grand opening on October 9 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall1. Mr. Ming-Hsin Kung, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), Mr. James C. F. Huang, Chairman of TAITRA, Mr. T. C. Gou, Chairman of TEEMA, and Mr. Pankaj Kumar, Additional Secretary of Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, India, unveiled the themes and highlights of TAITRONICS 2018 and AIoT Taiwan 2018.
The four-day show will highlight the theme “Transforming for an Innovative Future.” In parallel, the inaugural edition of “AIoT Taiwan” will be held, bringing renowned firms including Chunghwa Telecom, Advantech, Lite-On Technology, Delta Electronics, , Mobiletron, Protech Systems, Good Will Instrument, TES Electrical Electronic Tenmars Electronics, ECE, TARO &TYC, and The System Group. These companies come together under one roof and attract more than 350 exhibitors using over 650 booths.
Organizers have joined forces with strategic cooperative partners and dedicated media channels to host a spate of forums and seminars during the exhibition period, conduct deep discussions on such subjects as AIoT development trends, India-Taiwan Electronics Meet, and edge computing. Experts with forward-looking perspectives and high tech content are invited to explore and analyze the positioning of industries within tech development trends, to inspire new-generation innovation capabilities.
TEEMA, TAITRA, and the Asia Pacific Industrial Analysis Association (APIAA) have joined forces again to jointly host the “2nd Innovative Smart Application Competition.” This event aims to expand AIoT technological applications and innovations, encourage exhibitors to organize cross-industry, cross-trade and cross-border competition teams, and create new AI and IoT business opportunities. This year, 12 award-winning products have been selected and will join the dedicated exhibit area “Smart Innovation Application Award Winner's Hall of Fame”, which will allow the interactive situational presentation of 12 AIoT application products and solutions.
The organizers are expecting to attract more than 1,500 international buyers to the show. In order to efficiently assist international buyers search for potential partners with excellent products, TAITRA will organize one-on-one procurement meetings, matching the business opportunities of the supply and demand. At the same time, the largest Taiwan’s national B2B e-commerce portal - Taiwantrade will provide assist businesses everywhere in finding quality suppliers and products from Taiwan.
